BUSABOUT
FREE TRAVEL PASSES:
Visually Impaired Permit (VIP Pass)
This entitles the holder and guided dog free travel. Where
pass is marked Attendant the attendant may also
travel free.
Totally or Permanently Incapacitated (TPI Pass)
This entitles the holder to free travel (when a large black
P is displayed on the pass).
World War 1 Veteran's Free Pass
This entitles the holder to free travel.
Blinded Soldier's Gold Pass
Any blind soldier in possession of a gold life pass (actually
a badge) will be entitled to free travel.
Disabled Ex-Member of Defence Forces
This entitles the holder to free travel (when a large black
P is displayed on the pass) from the time of issue until the
end of the month shown on the pass.
TAFE Pass
This pass entitles the holder to free travel from home to
TAFE and return, during TAFE Term Monday to Friday only. |

CONCESSION
TRAVEL PASSES:
Pensioner Concession Pass
Pensioners are entitled to HALF fare if they are the holders
of a Transport Concession Card (TCI Card).
Retired Senior Citizen Concession Authority
This entitles the holder to concession travel.
Seniors Cards
The Senior Card is available to all people over 60 years of
age who are not in full-time employment and will entitle them
to half fare. This card will also incorporate the travel concessions
currently available to retired senior citizens.
Unemployed Concession Fare Certificate
This pass is issued to persons receiving Unemployment, Sickness
and Special Benefits. Holders of such passes are entitled
to half fare.
Student Concession Fare Certificate
This pass is issued to full-time Tertiary or College students
and entitles the holder to travel at the child fare rate.
Department of Education Concession Card
(Metropolitan South West Region) This allows the holder
who is a High School Student to travel to TAFE one afternoon
per week as part of their school curriculum.
School Free Travel
This entitles the holder to travel from home to school and
return, according to the conditions printed on the back of
the pass. The return journey must be commenced before 5.00pm
or before 6.30pm for students whose schools are located where
the required travel time extends beyond 5.00pm. |
